Crédit Agricole Assurances Concludes Successful Tender Offer
Crédit Agricole Assurances announced the successful completion of its tender offer initiated on January 8, 2026. The offer targeted two series of subordinated fixed-rate resettable notes issued in 2016 and 2018. An aggregate principal amount of €861.4 million was tendered, with a final acceptance amount set at €749.9 million.
The successful tender offer and the issuance of €750 million in Tier 2 debt maturing in December 2036 aim to balance the maturity profile of Crédit Agricole Assurances' debt. The 4.75% notes issued in 2016 and 2.625% notes issued in 2018 were part of this transaction.
The tender offer closed on January 15, 2026, with the settlement expected on January 20. Notes accepted in the tender will be canceled, providing liquidity and capital management efficacy for the firm.
