This partnership allows Sensirion to access a diverse portfolio of carbon removal solutions until 2028, furthering its commitment to sustainability and a net-zero target by 2050. Sensirion aims to optimize its carbon footprint by sourcing electricity from solar and clean energy, alongside investing in carbon removal projects for residual emissions.

In 2025, Sensirion acquired carbon removal solutions facilitated by ClimeFi through direct air capture, biomass carbon removal and storage, and mineralization. These methods aim to remove CO₂ effectively, transforming it into stable forms for long-term storage. ClimeFi's role is pivotal in providing Sensirion with a reliable supply and management insights for carbon removal projects.
