Cumulus Neuroscience Publishes Study on NeuLogiq® Platform for At-Home Cognitive Assessment

Cumulus Neuroscience has announced the publication of final results from its CNS-102 study in Scientific Reports. The study demonstrates the feasibility and usability of the NeuLogiq® Platform for at-home cognitive assessment in individuals with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). Participants in the study rated the platform as easy to use, with 82% of ALS users expressing satisfaction. The study is notable for combining at-home EEG and multimodal cognitive assessments, addressing gaps in current measurement practices.

The research involving 28 participants showed that the NeuLogiq® Platform produced high-quality data comparable to traditional in-clinic assessments. Analytical models suggested potential changes in speech fluency and emotion recognition, highlighting the advantages of frequent, multimodal home sampling. The study, conducted in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin, aligns with calls for more comprehensive patient assessments in neuroscience clinical trials.
