Custodian REIT Updates Acquisition Progress with Scorpion Properties

Custodian Property Income REIT plc has shared an update on its strategic acquisition of the Scorpion Portfolio, valued at £8.5 million. The portfolio was acquired through a majority-share acquisition of Scorpion Properties Limited earlier in March 2026.

Since the deal's completion, the Scorpion Portfolio maintained full occupancy, with its valuation on March 31 exceeding the purchase price by 3.6%. As part of refining its portfolio, Custodian sold a non-core Coventry asset for £0.4 million, slightly above its allocated purchase price.

Managing Director Richard Shepherd-Cross emphasized the acquisition's potential for future value creation through capturing rental growth. The company issued additional shares to finalize the acquisition accounts, with full trading on the London Stock Exchange expected to commence on June 18, 2026.
