Daimler Truck Adjusts Full-Year Guidance for 2026
On July 22, 2026, Daimler Truck Holding AG announced a revision of its full-year guidance for 2026. The updated forecast reflects an anticipated increase in unit sales, primarily from the Trucks North America segment, underpinned by an improved tariff framework. The company's updated expectations indicate an adjusted EBIT of €3.6 billion to €4.1 billion, compared to the previous estimate of €3.2 billion to €3.7 billion. Projected unit sales have been revised to 340,000-370,000 units from an earlier 330,000-360,000.
Revenue estimates for the Industrial Business segment have been raised to €43 billion to €47 billion, up from €42 billion to €46 billion. Similarly, the adjusted return on sales (ROS) for Trucks North America is now projected at 9% to 11%, compared to an earlier forecast of 6% to 8%. Although guidance for Daimler Buses has been lowered due to weaker market conditions in Latin America and Mexico, all other aspects remain unchanged.
These revisions are based on the current US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) framework and exclude potential shifts in tariff policies or economic conditions. Analysts are keenly awaiting the full quarterly results scheduled for release on August 7, 2026.
