Danone Reports Strong Q2 and Solid H1 2026 Results
Danone has announced a robust performance for the first half of 2026, driven by its health-focused portfolio. Q2 sales increased by 4.2% on a like-for-like basis, with a notable contribution from price adjustments. The EMEA region saw a 3.6% rise, while the Americas and APAC regions grew by 4.3% and 5.2% respectively.
For the first half of the year, sales reached €13,936 million, marking a 3.5% increase. The recurring operating margin improved slightly to 13.3%, bolstered by productivity gains despite inflationary pressures. Earnings per share also saw a modest rise, up 0.9% to €1.92.
Free cash flow was recorded at €0.9 billion. Danone confirmed its 2026 guidance, expecting sales growth between 3% and 5%, with recurring operating income outpacing sales growth.
