DATAGROUP Assumes SAP Operations for Heidelberger Druckmaschinen
On November 26, 2025, DATAGROUP announced its new contract to manage the SAP system landscape for Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG. This project involves migrating and managing HEIDELBERG's SAP systems within DATAGROUP's Enterprise Cloud in Frankfurt, over a five-year term valued in the mid-single-digit million range.
HEIDELBERG, a longstanding innovator in mechanical engineering, will see its essential SAP systems transitioned to a secure and scalable cloud infrastructure. This transition included moving databases to the SAP ASE platform to support future SAP S/4HANA integration.
The transition, completed in nine months, involved 30 system landscapes across 100 SAP systems. With DATAGROUP’s support, HEIDELBERG achieves a stable, scalable IT foundation, primed for future innovations and efficiency.
