DATAGROUP Halts Spin-Off of Almato AG

DATAGROUP SE announced on January 9, 2025, that it will not proceed with the spin-off of its subsidiary, Almato AG. The company concluded that the expected benefits of the spin-off could not be achieved with certainty in the current market conditions. As a result, the proposal for the spin-off and potential listing of Almato's shares will not be presented at the Annual General Meeting on March 18, 2025.

The decision is primarily due to challenging conditions in the small and micro-cap segments, which DATAGROUP believes may not allow for a successful realization of Almato's value increase through a spin-off. Therefore, DATAGROUP will continue to develop Almato, focusing on its semantic data platform, Bardioc, within the company. The option to carve out Almato at a later stage remains open.
