DATAGROUP Expands European Presence with Acquisition of Valid Managed Services
On May 8, 2026, DATAGROUP SE announced its agreement to acquire the Dutch IT service provider Valid Managed Services B.V. This strategic move marks a significant step in DATAGROUP's international expansion, enhancing its presence across Europe.
Founded in 1999, Valid Managed Services is headquartered in Eindhoven, Netherlands, employing around 180 people and generating annual revenues of €35 million. It offers managed and consulting services in areas like Modern Workplace, infrastructure, and security, targeting medium to large enterprises.
The acquisition aligns with DATAGROUP’s strategy to become a leading European IT services provider. Andreas Baresel, CEO of DATAGROUP, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with Valid's local team, anticipating the integration of existing services and international customer relationships.
