DB HiTek to Enhance European Market Presence at PCIM 2026
DB HiTek, a prominent 8-inch pure-play foundry from South Korea, is set to participate in the PCIM Europe 2026. This event is Europe's largest power semiconductor exhibition, taking place in Nuremberg, Germany from June 9 to 11. The company aims to showcase advancements in Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride (GaN), along with its BCDMOS technology.
Following a successful debut at PCIM 2025, DB HiTek anticipates building on its previous engagements. The company expects these interactions to lead to tangible business results through strengthened partnerships. The event also aligns with insights from Yole Développement, forecasting significant growth for the SiC and GaN markets.
DB HiTek began MPW runs for its SiC and GaN processes in December 2025. Evaluations are ongoing with mass production planned for 2027. Currently, the company serves approximately 400 customers, focusing on power semiconductor products and expanding into industrial and automotive sectors.
