DBV Technologies Unveils Promising Data on Peanut Allergy Treatments

DBV Technologies has shared new data from its Phase 3 VITESSE study and previewed the design of its THRIVE study at the EAACI Congress 2026. The VITESSE study demonstrated the efficacy of the VIASKIN® Peanut Patch in children aged 4-7 years with peanut allergy and common atopic conditions such as asthma or atopic dermatitis. In this study, children treated with the patch showed significant improvement compared to those given a placebo.

Additionally, DBV Technologies introduced the THRIVE study, focusing on infants aged 6-12 months. This study aims to evaluate whether infants can achieve peanut consumption after three years of treatment with the VIASKIN® Peanut Patch. Results from both studies will be available on the company's website. These findings could inform future clinical practices and enhance the management of peanut allergies if the patch receives approval.
