Deezer Reports Solid H1 Financial Performance and Subscriber Growth
Deezer, the global music platform, announced its financial performance for H1 2025, reporting revenue of €267.1 million, a slight decrease of 0.3% from H1 2024. The company's direct subscriber numbers showed significant growth, particularly in France, while adjusted EBITDA reached a positive €2 million, marking a €7 million improvement year-on-year.
Deezer maintained a positive trajectory in terms of revenue from its direct segment, recording €173.6 million. Despite a decline in partnerships revenue due to changes in the Mercado Libre model, the company saw an increase in its "Other" revenue segment by 77%, driven by white labeling solutions.
Free cash flow remained positive at €1 million, and cash reserves stood at a robust €60 million. Deezer also introduced new offerings like the "Deezer Business" service and pioneered the world's first AI tagging system for music streaming.
With enhanced user engagement and strategic partnerships, Deezer remains on track to achieve its FY25 financial targets, including positive adjusted EBITDA and sustained free cash flow.
