On April 15, 2026, Delska inaugurated one of the Baltic region's most advanced and sustainable data centers, EU North Riga LV DC1, in Riga, Latvia. The 10 MW facility is designed for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. Notably, it received the Latvian Construction Annual Award in the "Production Facility, Industrial Building" category.
The launch event attracted over 400 attendees, including government officials and industry experts. Daiga Mierina, Speaker of the Parliament of Latvia, emphasized the center's significance for Latvia's IT sector. Presentations highlighted data centers' roles in national infrastructure and sustainability.
The new facility addresses capacity shortages in European hubs and aims to position the Baltics as a competitive digital infrastructure hub. Covering 7,100 m² and expandable to 30 MW, it operates on renewable energy sources and meets Tier III standards. The project reflects Latvia's potential to drive secure, sustainable digital investments.
