DJI Advances Drone Technology with Successful Mount Everest Missions

DJI, a leader in drone and camera technology, completed significant missions on Mount Everest, advancing high-altitude delivery, mapping, and climate research. Utilizing the new DJI FlyCart 100 and Matrice 4E, the company conducted operations on both the South and North slopes. These missions mark a pivotal advancement in deploying drones at extreme altitudes for various practical applications.

The DJI FlyCart 100 demonstrated its large payload capability, successfully transporting over 10,073 kg of supplies and waste between Base Camp and Camp 1. In another achievement, DJI's Matrice 4E mapped hazardous glacier areas, aiding mountaineering safety. Additionally, the DJI EV50 drone supported atmospheric research by ascending to extreme altitudes, offering new data on atmospheric pollutants.

The tests on Mount Everest reflect DJI’s long-term commitment to enhancing drone technology and sustain critical operations in challenging environments. The collaboration aims to improve safety and further scientific research while ensuring environmental conservation on the world's highest peak.
