DKSH Achieves Milestone with SBTi Approval for Emissions Targets
DKSH Management Ltd. has received validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its near-term and net-zero emissions targets. This approval underscores DKSH's dedication to climate goals and its objective to reach net-zero emissions by 2050. The approval aligns DKSH’s climate objectives with current scientific standards.
The company aims to reduce its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 71.2% by 2030, using a 2020 baseline. Additionally, there is a pledge to cut Scope 3 emissions from purchased goods by 61.1% per CHF of value added by 2033, based on 2024 figures. Measures include optimizing transport routes, utilizing renewable energy, and investing in carbon removal projects.
CEO Stefan P. Butz emphasized that the approval enhances DKSH’s sustainability efforts and strengthens its climate ambition. The company has already achieved a 55% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions since 2020.
