DO & CO AG Achieves Record Q2 Results Despite Exchange Rate Challenges
DO & CO AG has reported record-breaking Q2 results for the fiscal year 2025/26, driven by increased utilization rates in its kitchens and growing demand. Despite negative foreign exchange effects, overall revenues rose by 8% year-on-year. Key contributors were the Airline Catering (AC) segment, with a 10% increase in revenue to €515 million, and the Restaurants, Lounges & Hotel (RLH) segment, which grew by 14%.
The EBIT for Q2 saw significant improvements, with the AC segment achieving a 17% year-on-year increase to €43.5 million. This improvement was supported by new airline customers and a rise in passenger volumes. The RLH segment also experienced strong EBIT growth, while the International Event Catering (IEC) maintained stable earnings despite a challenging comparable base.
The company remains focused on profitability, indicated by a potential strategic decision regarding the FIFA 2026 World Cup tender. DO & CO is committed to ensuring high margins and has plans to increase its workforce with highly qualified chefs, supporting its growth strategy.
