Dreamdata has unveiled its LinkedIn Ads Benchmarks Report 2026, highlighting LinkedIn's superior performance in B2B advertising. LinkedIn is noted as the only platform delivering a positive return on ad spend (ROAS) at 121%. This surpasses Google Search's 67% and Meta’s 51%, securing LinkedIn a 41% share of B2B paid social budgets.
The report identifies a shift in B2B buying behavior, with the journey extending from 211 to 272 days. Buyers reportedly spend the initial 220 days on self-education through content before engaging with sales. This evolving process is now marked by 88 touchpoints, spanning four channels, and involving ten stakeholders, underscoring its growing complexity.
Steffen Hedebrandt, Dreamdata’s Co-founder and CMO, emphasized the difficulty in proving marketing's impact due to CRM limitations. The report aids in evaluating strategies by analyzing campaign data from over 66 million sessions and 3.5 million journeys.
