DRONE VOLT unveils the HELIPLANE 340 LRS in Madagascar

On October 21, 2026, DRONE VOLT presented its HELIPLANE 340 LRS PRO DEF/SEC drone in Madagascar, during a visit by Catherine Vautrin, Minister of the Armed Forces. The event was part of an effort to strengthen Franco-Malagasy defense cooperation. This drone combines VTOL technology, enabling vertical takeoff and landing, with the performance of a fixed-wing aircraft for long-duration missions.

Its two-hour battery life and 300 km range make it a suitable tool for surveillance and reconnaissance. Furthermore, the device can carry up to 3 kg of payload, facilitating the addition of specialized cameras for day and night missions. Finally, the minister announced the delivery of 100 drones to the Malagasy armed forces by the end of 2026.
