Eagle Plains and Xcite Resources Begin Geophysical Surveys in Saskatchewan
Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. has announced the initiation of geophysical surveys by their partner, Xcite Resources Inc., at six projects in the Uranium City area, Saskatchewan. Geotech Airborne Geophysical Surveys will conduct 697 line-km of helicopter-borne surveying using the VTEM Plus system. This survey aims to explore historical regions and new areas for potential uranium mineralization.
The projects, including Beaver River and Black Bay, are located in Saskatchewan's Beaverlodge District, an area known for uranium deposits. The site offers potential for significant uranium finds with historical precedence from the 1950s to early 1980s. The agreement allows Xcite to earn up to 80% interest in these projects by fulfilling specific financial and operational obligations over four years.
