Eagle Plains and Xcite Uranium Begin Drilling at Black Bay Project

Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. has announced the start of a diamond drilling program by its partner, Xcite Uranium Inc., at the Black Bay Project in Saskatchewan. The program includes 1,300 meters of drilling across six holes aimed at uranium mineralization. Xcite has added a second drill rig to ensure timely completion.

The Black Bay uranium project, located 20 kilometers south of Uranium City, hosts near-surface uranium mineralization and the former Black Bay uranium mine. Xcite has an exclusive right to earn up to an 80% interest in this project. The 2026 budget for Black Bay is about $1.1 million, including extensive fieldwork and drilling.

The project includes historical samples with significant uranium content, supporting the potential for Beaverlodge-style and basement-hosted uranium mineralization. Management believes in the significant potential for discovering additional uranium both along strike and at depth.
