Xcite Uranium Launches Drilling at Don Lake Project
Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. announced that partner Xcite Uranium Inc. has initiated a diamond drilling program at the Don Lake Project in Saskatchewan. The program will cover 1500 meters across 14 holes, aiming to explore for uranium mineralization based on past studies and recent fieldwork.
The Don Lake project, located near Uranium City, includes near-surface uranium deposits and a former uranium mine. Xcite holds an option to earn up to 80% interest in the project, having begun an exploration program covering six uranium projects managed by TerraLogic Exploration Inc.
The 2026 budget for drilling is set at approximately $1.1 million. Initial findings from radiometric surveys suggest potential uranium-rich zones within the project area, stimulating renewed exploration interest due to historical significance and rising uranium prices.
