EcoGraf Secures Indian Patent for HFfree® Purification Technology

EcoGraf Limited has been granted an Indian patent for its EcoGraf HFfree® purification technology. This technology serves a range of applications in battery anode material production and lithium-ion battery recycling. The patent, effective until May 2041, strengthens EcoGraf's position in emerging supply chains outside China.

The grant aligns with EcoGraf’s strategy to fortify its intellectual property as it expands into key battery markets globally. Utilizing environmentally sustainable processes, EcoGraf plans production in Tanzania, while seeking additional patents in the EU, Korea, and Malaysia.

This move is timely as global interest in diversified raw material supply chains grows, partly due to recent Chinese restrictions. EcoGraf aims to establish purification facilities across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific, enhancing localized supply.
