EcoGraf's HFfree Process Demonstrates Strong Global Competitiveness

EcoGraf Limited has confirmed the competitive edge of its patented HFfree process in producing high-purity anode material for lithium-ion batteries. The assessment covered seven potential sites worldwide, revealing robust cost competitiveness. Key areas include EcoGraf’s ability to maintain an operational cost of approximately US$478 per ton of spherical purified graphite, significantly better than prices of Chinese supplies.

The integrated supply chain strategy, underpinned by inexpensive upstream feedstock from Tanzania, allows EcoGraf to position itself as an efficient alternative to Chinese sources. This positioned the production cost at around US$1,441 per ton.

EcoGraf's strategic plans involve expanding HFfreeprocess facilities to major battery manufacturing hubs in North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, the company secured €6.2 million in grant funding and aims to leverage diversified non-Chinese supply chains amid shifting market dynamics.
