Econocom launches a website for refurbished IT equipment for professionals
On December 8, 2025, World Climate Day, Econocom launched "shop.econocomfactory.com", a platform dedicated to selling refurbished IT equipment to businesses. This site aims to integrate refurbished products into professional purchasing practices, thereby reducing carbon footprints while optimizing costs.
Inspired by the B2C model, the site allows companies to adopt reuse solutions through a multi-brand catalog enhanced with services. Based in Montpellier, this initiative promotes the local circular economy by refurbishing all equipment on-site.
In response to changing consumer habits, 70% of shoppers prefer to order online, according to McKinsey. Econocom is meeting the regulatory requirements of the CSRD directive by improving the environmental impact of businesses.
