Ecotel Announces 2025 Financial Results: Revenue Increase and Strategic Growth

Ecotel communication ag, headquartered in Düsseldorf, reported its 2025 financial results, highlighting an 8% increase in revenue, reaching EUR 124.2 million. This comes despite challenges in the telecommunications market. The company's strategic focus on business customers in Germany seems to be paying off, particularly in the Cloud & Fiber sectors.

Gross profit notably climbed by 10% to EUR 36.4 million. However, operating EBITDA decreased slightly to EUR 8.9 million due to a decline in internet resource sale proceeds. Net income, impacted by a EUR 2.8 million tax provision, was adjusted to EUR 2.8 million after accounting for this extraordinary expense.

The Free Cash Flow rose to EUR 2.4 million. Ecotel's commitment to staying debt-free allowed for a EUR 1.0 million dividend distribution while maintaining a firm equity ratio of 42%. The company aims to bolster its financial stability, deciding not to issue a dividend for 2025.
