EDF increases its nuclear production forecasts for 2025
EDF has announced an upward revision of its nuclear production in France for 2025. Estimates have increased from 350-370 TWh to 365-375 TWh. This revision is based on better control of unit outages, thanks to the "START 2025" action plan. This program, launched in 2019, aims to optimize the operational efficiency of the maintenance program.
The production range for 2026 and 2027 remains unchanged, fluctuating between 350 and 370 TWh. Furthermore, EDF points out that 18 out of 33 outages were shorter than planned in 2025. The teams are committed to achieving an annual production capacity of more than 400 TWh.
