Eiffage Secures €110 Million Contract for Bridge Replacement in Nuremberg
Eiffage, alongside its German subsidiaries Eiffage Infra-Bau and SEH, has secured a contract in collaboration with Mostostal Kraków to replace two bridges in Nuremberg, Germany. The project, valued at €110 million, attributes €95 million to Eiffage. The initiative aims to modernize Germany’s infrastructure as part of a stimulus plan, addressing sustainability and safety concerns of the existing structures.
The first bridge will extend 105 meters over the Main-Danube Canal, featuring a prefabricated metal monobloc superstructure with elliptical arches, transported by waterway. The second bridge, 62 meters long, will be constructed alongside the current structure over the A73 motorway to ensure traffic continuity. Completion is targeted for late 2030.
This contract enhances Eiffage's presence in Germany, where it generated €2.8 billion in 2025, employing 9,700 people. The project underscores Eiffage's role in Germany’s infrastructure modernization efforts.
