EKINOPS acquires Chimere, a French cybersecurity start-up
On March 24, 2026, Ekinops, a specialist in optical network solutions, announced the acquisition of Chimere, a French cybersecurity startup. This acquisition aims to strengthen Ekinops' cybersecurity offering and is part of its Bridge strategic plan. Chimere offers a Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solution, an alternative to traditional VPNs and firewalls, adapted to new digital uses.
With the integration of Chimere, Ekinops expands its SASE portfolio, positioning itself as the European leader in this segment. The company becomes the only global provider offering a unique combination of SD-WAN, SSE, and ZTNA. The transaction is expected to close before March 31, 2026, with no anticipated impact on the year's financial results.
