Ekinops and Proximus Wholesale: Network Virtualization in Belgium

Ekinops announces the integration of its network virtualization solutions with Proximus Wholesale in Belgium. This partnership introduces Network-as-a-Service (NaaS), based on Proximus' broadband infrastructure. This collaboration is built around the Open Network Ecosystem (ONE), which combines Proximus connectivity with Ekinops technologies. Universal customer premises equipment (uCPE) and automated management via OneManage are at the heart of the project.

Thanks to this initiative, Belgian telecom operators gain access to automated services. Virtualization replaces physical equipment, accelerating service deployment. On-demand bandwidth and remote updates simplify operations. For Proximus, this unified model represents a step towards more agile, software-defined edge networks.
