Encavis Acquires Bebensee Wind Farm, Expanding German Wind Portfolio

Encavis, a prominent European Independent Power Producer in the renewable energy sector, has expanded its wind power portfolio by acquiring the Bebensee wind farm from the PNE Group. This acquisition adds an additional 34 MW to Encavis' capacity, now totaling approximately 770 MW in Germany. Located northeast of Hamburg, the Bebensee project has been operational for two months.

The acquired farm comprises five Nordex N163 turbines. These turbines collectively will produce enough power annually to meet the electricity needs of roughly 33,000 households. This transaction is underpinned by a 20-year EEG feed-in tariff agreement.

This deal further cements Encavis's collaboration with PNE, enhancing their positions in renewable energy within Europe. PNE's subsidiary, energy consult GmbH, will manage the technical and commercial aspects of the wind farm.
