Electric Metals (USA) Limited Transitions to British Columbia Jurisdiction
Electric Metals (USA) Limited has announced its transition from the Canada Business Corporations Act to the Business Corporations Act in British Columbia. This move was approved by shareholders during the annual meeting on September 4, 2025. The TSX Venture Exchange has conditionally accepted the transition, pending customary requirements.
The transition enhances the company's flexibility under British Columbia's corporate laws, aligning with common practices among TSXV-listed junior mining companies. According to Brian Savage, CEO of Electric Metals, this step is part of a broader corporate restructuring plan. It also paves the way for a potential future transition to Delaware, subject to requirements.
The company states that this transition will not impact daily operations or business goals, with no changes to its share capital or trading status on TSXV and OTCQB.
