Key players in the Swiss healthcare sector, including FMH and pharmaSuisse, are advancing the "Electronic Prescription Switzerland" service for nationwide use. The initiative marks a significant step in the digitalization of healthcare prescriptions. In March 2026, the service surpassed 100,000 electronic prescriptions issued per month.
