ELITE Solar Expands Global Reach with 5GW Facility in Egypt
ELITE Solar has inaugurated a 5GW photovoltaic manufacturing facility in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, Egypt. This marks a significant step in the company's global expansion strategy. The plant includes 2GW of solar cell capacity and 3GW of module production, creating a fully integrated manufacturing system. The project supports Egypt's renewable energy and industrial goals and strengthens the region's role in the global supply chain.
Egypt's Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, celebrated the opening, highlighting its importance for local workforce development. ELITE Solar also welcomed regional partners to view the facility, showcasing its focus on reliable, scalable manufacturing.
CEO Arndt E. Lutz emphasized the company's commitment to quality and reliability, aided by advanced N-type technology and integrated production. The Ain Sokhna facility is central to ELITE Solar's growth, enhancing its ability to meet demand in MENA, Europe, and North America.
