ENCAVIS Expands Solar Portfolio with Italian Acquisition

ENCAVIS, a Hamburg-based wind and solar park operator, has strengthened its Italian solar energy presence by acquiring five solar parks from EDP Renewables Italia Holding S.r.l. The acquisition adds 265 megawatts (MW) to ENCAVIS's capacity, boosting its Italian operations to 420 MW.

The parks, located in Lazio and Puglia, are operational, producing 248 MW of green electricity. An additional 17 MW expansion in Lazio is expected by mid-2026. Stern Energy will manage operations and maintenance post-transition.

The portfolio will generate approximately 423 gigawatt-hours annually, with long-term Power Purchase Agreements and a 20-year Contract for Difference ensuring stable returns.
