Encavis Secures EUR 282 Million for Italian Solar PV Expansion
Encavis has finalized a EUR 282 million long-term project financing to expand its solar PV portfolio in Italy, focusing on a 351 MW capacity. This move solidifies Encavis' presence in Italy, a key market for solar energy growth in Europe.
The financing follows Encavis' acquisition of the Giotto portfolio in 2025 and supports four additional projects, totaling approximately 351 MW, with 265 MW from Giotto and 86 MW from new projects. Located mainly in Lazio, with sites in Puglia, Piemonte, and Emilia-Romagna, the project integrates battery storage solutions, enhancing renewable and storage capabilities.
The financing was organized by a consortium of banks, emphasizing Encavis' strong financial networks. The agreement includes a EUR 244 million term facility and additional reserve and credit facilities, maturing by 2049.
