Energiekontor AG Expands Rapidly in Q1 2025

Energiekontor AG, a prominent German developer and operator of wind and solar parks, made significant strides in the first quarter of 2025. The company, headquartered in Bremen, has advanced several domestic and international projects, contributing to its growth trajectory.

The newly commissioned Letschin solar park, with a capacity of 60.0 megawatts, has been integrated into Energiekontor's portfolio, enhancing their power generation to nearly 444 megawatts. With six additional projects under construction, the company's capacity is set to surpass 600 megawatts.

As of March 2025, Energiekontor was working on 12 projects totaling approximately 359 megawatts. Among them are six owned projects and three UK wind projects already sold. Notably, three German wind projects secured financial closure, poised for imminent sale.

A robust pipeline, including 36 permits for 1.3 gigawatts of capacity, underscores Energiekontor's growth ambitions, particularly in the UK and France.
