Energiekontor Secures Permits for Four Wind Park Projects in Germany

Energiekontor AG, a prominent German developer of wind and solar parks, announced it has obtained permits for four new wind park projects. These projects, located in North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony, have a combined capacity of approximately 142 megawatts. The development marks a significant addition to Energiekontor's project pipeline in Germany.

Each of the four wind projects will have generation capacities of about 34, 43, 48, and 17 megawatts. This achievement brings the company's total approved capacity for 2026 to around 250 megawatts across nine projects in Germany. This progress highlights Energiekontor's resilience in advancing its projects amid challenging market conditions, which often require complex permitting processes.

Günter Eschen, a member of the management board, emphasized the dedication of the project teams in steering these developments and expressed gratitude for their perseverance. Energiekontor intends to continue moving these projects forward through further development stages.
