Energiekontor AG's H1 2026 Driven by Construction, Eyes Earnings in H2

Bremen-based Energiekontor AG, a prominent developer of wind and solar projects, reported a 31.4% increase in sales, reaching €99.9 million in the first half of 2026. High construction activity influenced this growth. Despite achieving major operational milestones, the company posted a negative Group net profit of -€5.3 million, primarily due to increased material costs and ongoing investments.

In H1 2026, four wind parks with a combined 88 MW capacity were commissioned. The project development and sales segment saw external revenues of €63.2 million, a 46.0% increase. Energiekontor's portfolio now includes 609 MW under construction and 1.2 GW in approved permits.

The company expects significant earnings in the second half of 2026 from UK project sales and German wind park commissions. Despite market challenges, Energiekontor remains on track to achieve its annual EBT target of €40-€60 million.
