ENGIE has signed a 15-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Apple. This deal enhances ENGIE’s renewable energy portfolio in Italy by adding 173 MW of new capacity. The agreement involves constructing two wind farms, a wind repowering project, and two agrivoltaics plants, all located in Southern Italy. These facilities are expected to be operational between 2026 and 2027.

A notable 80% of the green energy produced will be supplied to Apple, while the remaining 20% will power approximately 30,000 households annually. This initiative is projected to avoid over 160,000 tons of CO₂ emissions each year, equivalent to removing about 70,000 cars from the roads.

Edouard Neviaski, EVP at ENGIE, emphasizes the agreement showcases the company's commitment to advancing the energy transition. ENGIE continues to expand its reach in the renewable sector, aiming for 1.6 GW of installed capacity in Italy by 2030.
