ENGIE has been awarded the concessions to construct and operate 143 kilometers of transmission lines and five synchronous condenser units in Brazil. The Brazilian Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) auction secured ENGIE's project with an annual allowed revenue of R$ 122.7 million over a 30-year concession period. These developments will enhance the reliability and stability of the Brazilian power network, supporting renewable energy production.

Located in the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina, Ceará, and Rio Grande do Norte, these projects mark ENGIE's strategic investment in Brazil, where it currently operates 16.5 GW of renewable energy assets. The addition of synchronous condensers is significant for generating reactive power and enhancing grid stability.

ENGIE's expansion reflects its commitment to Brazil's energy infrastructure modernization, improving the national grid's integration and reliability. The regulated electricity transmission market ensures predictable, inflation-indexed revenues with minimal risk, fostering long-term value.
