ENGIE launches a share buyback program
ENGIE has announced the implementation of its share buyback program, approved at the Annual General Meeting on April 24, 2025. The company has engaged an investment services provider to assist in acquiring up to 2,200,000 shares. This buyback will take place over a 10-day period starting January 12, 2026, with a possible extension according to the terms of the contract.
The unit purchase price is capped at €30, in accordance with the decision of the General Meeting. The acquired shares will primarily be used to fulfill ENGIE's obligations under employee share ownership plans. It is also envisaged that some shares may be cancelled.
