Transportation Solutions for the 9th CIIE in Shanghai
The 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai will take place from November 5 to 10. The event has devised comprehensive transportation plans to facilitate visitor mobility.
Traffic restrictions near the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) have been reduced compared to 2025. Temporary parking lots are available, and reservations can be made online. Shuttle services connect distant parking areas with those near the venue.
Taxis and ride-hailing vehicles can drop off passengers at designated points like P0, P1, and P6. Departures via taxis are centered at the P6 lot, while ride-hailing pickups are facilitated after 3 pm at P0 and P1.
Public transport options include Metro Lines 2 and 17, with extended Bus No 71 services reaching the NECC. Shuttle buses are available for nearby hotels lacking metro access.
