EPC Group expands its mining activities in Senegal with a key contract
EPC Group, a key player in the civil explosives sector, announces a significant contract through its subsidiary EPC Mineex Senegal. This three-year contract, worth 15 billion CFA francs, was awarded to Boto SA, operator of the Boto gold mine in Senegal. It includes the deployment of Mobile Explosive Manufacturing Units and comprehensive technical services.
The Boto mine, located in Kédougou, is a major gold project in West Africa. With a planned annual production of 160,000 ounces of gold and an investment of over 350 million euros, it represents a major pillar of the regional mining industry.
This success strengthens EPC Group's position in the African mining sector, illustrating its ability to provide integrated and innovative solutions, while supporting strategic mining projects.
