EPC Group secures a major contract for a hydroelectric project in France

EPC Groupe, a renowned player in the field of civil explosives and drilling and blasting, has won a contract worth over €5 million to participate in the expansion of a hydroelectric power plant in France. This project, one of the most significant for energy storage, is part of the country's efforts to increase its electricity production and storage capacity.

The power plant, considered essential to the electrical grid, acts as a "hydraulic battery." It stores electricity during off-peak periods and releases it during peak demand.
