Eric Vial takes over as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole SA

On December 16, 2025, Eric Vial was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole SA. He will succeed Dominique Lefebvre on January 1, 2026. The Board unanimously praised his predecessor's ten years of service. Eric Vial brings extensive experience to his new role. He has been active within Crédit Agricole for several years, having served as Chairman of Crédit Agricole des Savoie since 2018 and as a member of the FNCA Executive Committee since 2022. Vial also has solid experience in the cooperative and agricultural sectors, having founded a large livestock cooperative in Savoie. His dairy farm is recognized for its strict environmental and health standards.
