Ernst Russ AG Sells MV “Mirror”

Ernst Russ AG has announced the sale of its container vessel, MV “Mirror”, a 2007-built ship with an 803 TEU capacity. The vessel is set for transfer to its new owner in January 2027. The financial details of the sale remain undisclosed, and the transaction will not affect the company's 2026 financial results.

This sale is part of Ernst Russ AG's ongoing strategy of active portfolio management, which earlier saw the sale of MV “EF Emira” and MV “EF Emma”. The company has also expanded its fleet by acquiring multipurpose vessels and tankers, including the recent delivery of the newbuild MT “Farrie Russ” in October 2026.

Co-CEO Joseph Schuchmann emphasizes the strategic timing of their transactions to maintain a balanced risk profile. Ernst Russ AG aims to sustain a modern and diversified fleet, enhancing long-term charter agreements to ensure revenue stability.
