Eurobattery Minerals Advances Hautalampi Project with EPA Submission

Eurobattery Minerals AB has announced that its Finnish subsidiary, FinnCobalt Oy, has submitted supplementary documentation for the Environmental Permit Application (EPA) for the Hautalampi battery mineral project in eastern Finland. This marks a significant milestone in the project’s development.

The submission, prepared with the help of experts from Envineer Oy, addresses the Regional State Administrative Agency's requirements under Finland’s Environmental Protection Act and Water Act. It includes updated water modelling, leaching potential assessments, an extractive waste management plan, and a Natura 2000 assessment. These steps underscore Eurobattery Minerals' commitment to sustainable development.

This development signifies progress toward production and aligns with the EU Critical Raw Materials Act. The company remains hopeful for a positive review outcome, anticipating further progress in the permitting process.
