Eurobattery Minerals Proposes SEK 78.5 Million Rights Issue for Investment in San Juan Wolfram Mine
Eurobattery Minerals' board has proposed a rights issue of SEK 78.5 million to fund a majority stake in the San Juan Wolfram mine in Spain. The issue, offering preferential rights to existing shareholders, will run from August 25 to September 8, 2025. If fully subscribed, it will raise substantial funds for ongoing projects and strategic investments.
The funds will support a EUR 1.5 million investment in Tungsten San Juan S.L. This strategic move aims to bolster Eurobattery Minerals' position in tungsten extraction, crucial for defense and technology sectors. The investment aligns with the company's strategy to ensure Europe's tungsten supply.
The decision is pending approval at the extraordinary general meeting on August 14, 2025. Shareholders on record by August 21, 2025, will receive rights to subscribe to the new shares, with the aim to strengthen the company's resources and technical capacities in Europe.
