Eurobattery Minerals Advances San Juan Tungsten Project with Metallurgical Testing
Eurobattery Minerals AB has announced the initiation of comprehensive metallurgical testing for the San Juan tungsten project in Galicia, Spain. The company has dispatched a bulk sample, approximately 1,000 kilograms of tungsten-bearing material, to SLR Consulting Ltd in the UK for detailed analysis.
The test program is set to run over five months, with results expected by Q3 2026. It involves evaluating the processing characteristics of the ore, including tests such as cyclone classification and spiral separation. The outcomes will aid in the final design of the process flowsheet and the future processing plant, a pivotal step in project development. This will optimize technical performance while ensuring responsible resource use.
Roberto García Martínez, CEO of Eurobattery Minerals, emphasized the critical role of this metallurgical work in advancing the San Juan project towards becoming a viable mining operation.
