Eurobattery Minerals to Submit Additional Documentation for Environmental Permit
On 30 May 2025, Eurobattery Minerals AB announced it will provide additional documentation for its Environmental Permit Application (EPA) for the Hautalampi battery mineral project. This follows a detailed review by the Finnish Regional State Administrative Agency. The submission is set for the end of June 2025, delaying the final decision initially expected by the end of May.
The company views this as an opportunity to strengthen its application by aligning it with the latest EU regulations, specifically Regulation (EU) 2024/1252. Eurobattery Minerals remains committed to advancing the project while adhering to the highest environmental and ESG standards. No new timeline for the final decision has been provided by Finnish authorities.
